This is an enormous chunky pine coffee table recently brought back from Uppsala, Sweden. Dates to the early 1970s. Made of solid pine in a brutalist design. No nails, bolts or metal hardware. Held together by its own wood plugs which can be seen in the surface detail. A beautiful statement piece.
